History of Brenderup

Brenderup started making horse trailers in Europe in 1962. The trailer was designed with the safety and comfort of the horse in mind. It was also designed to be pulled safely by more fuel efficient European vehicles. The strong yet lightweight construction and the aerodynamic design has changed little, proving time and again what an economical design it is.

Brenderup trailers have been available in the U.S. since 1982 and discriminating horsemen and women are catching on to its unique features.

What Our Customers Are Saying

"I’ve never driven a trailer in my life, but I drove over that grade and down the freeway like I’d been doing it for years. We stopped for gas [and food] and it was so easy going in and out the parking lots."

"I couldn’t find anyone to go with me today…so I just stuck [Milo] in, raised the ramp, and away we went! Can’t believe I can do this all by myself! ...please let my experience be a testimonial to anyone who thinks this isn’t the best way to take your equine friend along with you!" (See picture.)

"I had never pulled anything with a car in my life. I didn't even know what a hitch was. My Baron One Brenderup trailer was no problem at all for me to drive on the freeway all the way home ... 2 hours and raining all the way. ...what a smooth experience. I had no problems whatsoever."

"I think my horse really liked riding in the Brenderup. She watched the world go by out the front window."
